Visit Rwanda & Uganda in two weeks and Immerse yourself in the pristine natural surroundings, where indigenous primates and wildlife live. You will start with Akagera National Park, home to the big Five, continue to Nyungwe Forest, home to Chimpanzee and other special key primates, down in to Volcanoes National Park for Gorillas and Golden Monkey trek in Rwanda. In Uganda, you will visit the most popular places including Bwindi Forest and Queen Elizabeth National Park. All these places are icninic to Africa.
Day 1: ARRIVAL
After you arrive Kigali International Airport, clear with immigration and proceed to the arrivals where you will meet your driver guide who will transfer you to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: KIGALI CITY TOUR
After a relaxed breakfast, proceed for a tour of Kigali city which includes visiting the Kigali Genocide memorial center and Inema Arts center. Kigali Genocide memorial is the best known landmark in the city. It sets out the history leading to the Genocide in Rwanda and others around the world. It helps one understand why the Genocide took place, what happened and to appreciate how far the country has moved on from that tragic time. After lunch in Kigali you will visit the Inema Arts center founded by brother’s spurs creativity for personal, social and economic growth. Day 3: HELICOPTER FLIGHT FROM KIGALI TO AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport to take your helicopter flight to Akagera National Park, where you will meet your driver guide who will transfer you to your lodge for check in. After lunch at the lodge relax and in the evening, you will go for a game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 4: FULL DAY AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK
On this day after breakfast, you will proceed for a boat ride, have a chance to visit an Island which inhabits a variety of bird species. After lunch you will enjoy a game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 5: HELICOPTER FLIGHT FROM AKAGERA TO NYUNGWE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast at your Lodge proceed to take your helicopter flight to Nyungwe National Park where you will be picked up by your driver guide and transferred to the lodge. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 6: CHIMPANZEE TREKKING AND CANOPY WALK
On this day you will depart the Resort with packed breakfast and drive to the park headquarters for briefing then proceed to the starting points into the forest. During this trek you will see a variety of bird species and the Primates. You will be allowed to stay in the presence of the
Chimpanzees for an hour as you enjoy watching them go about their normal day. You then return to the lodge to rest and have lunch.
In the afternoon, you will once again proceed to the park headquarters for canopy walk briefing. Experience the forest from a dazzling perspective on the canopy walkway the only one of its kind in East Africa. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: COLOBUS MONKEY TREK
After breakfast at the Resort, proceed to the park headquarters for briefing and start your Colobus Monkey trek. These Primates are Old World Monkeys of the genus Colobus native to the African continent. They are black with white fur on their necks and backs. As you walk through the rainforest you will be amazed how large they are in number; about 400 individuals in a group comprising the largest group of the Angolan Colobus Monkeys in Africa. This trek isn’t as tiresome as the Chimpanzee trek tends to be. You will see a good number of them at the tree tops as they swing from one branch to another. Return to the Resort in time for lunch. Day 8: HELICOPTER FLIGHT FROM NYUNGWE TO MUSANZE / VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast at the Lodge, you will take your helicopter flight to Musanze, where you will meet your driver guide who will drive you to your lodge. Lunch and dinner at the Lodge.

Day 9: GORILLA TREKKING
After a very early breakfast at the lodge, you will proceed to the park headquarters for briefing and thereafter drive to the trail heads the start point for your amazing adventure.
You will be trekking the Great Apes, the Mountain Gorillas in Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. This activity could take between 2-6 hours. Rwanda has 12 habituated groups of Mountain Gorillas scattered all over the Park. You will spend an hour watching the habituated group going about their normal day playing, eating… etc
Upon return from your trek, you will be driven back to the lodge where you will have lunch and spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the lodge facilities.

Day 10:TRANSFER FROM FROM MUSANZE / VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK TO BWINDI FOREST IN UGANDA
Breakfast at the lodge and after checking out; you will proceed to Uganda, via the Cyanika border. After dealing with the immigration formalities, you will proceed to Bwindi Forest to your lodge. Day 11: GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI FOREST
After an early breakfast; you will proceed to the park headquarters for briefing and thereafter go to the start points and enjoy the highlight of the safari. Trekking the Great Apes the Mountain Gorillas is a once in a lifetime and worthwhile experience which takes between 2–6 hours. You will then return to your Lodge for lunch, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12: BATWA CULTURAL VISIT IN BWINDI FOREST
After a relaxed breakfast and lunch at your Lodge, you will proceed for the activity of the day the Batwa cultural experience. The Batwa people are one of the oldest surviving Indigenous tribes in Africa. And are the original dwellers of this ancient jungle and also referred to as the keepers of the forest. This cultural experience was developed by the Batwa pygmies to earn a source of income and share their amazing traditions and heritage with the World. Enjoying a nature walk and hike through the forest seeing the endangered forest in the eyes of its original occupants and learn more about the pygmy people, how they lived, hunted traditionally. You will have an opportunity to visit a Batwa homestead, visit the medicine man and learn how they go about their daily activities. Day 13: DRIVE TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
After relaxed breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to the North in to Queen Elizabth National Park the second most visited Park and the most popular savannah reserve in Uganda. This Park has the highest variety of habitats and wildlife too. A game drive in Ishasha for the tree climbing lions and later proceeed to Mweya. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 14: GAME DRIVE IN QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
After a relaxed breakfast, you will proceed for a game drive; through the Kasenyi and North Kazinga plains where you will see herds of Elephants, Buffalos, Antelopes, etc…
Continue in the evening with yet another game drive to sight more animals athat are residents to th park In the afternoon after lunch at the lodge, you will have a boat ride along the Kazinga Channel en-route you will see groups of Hippos and Buffalos a few metres away. You will see some animals coming to drink water at the banks and a various bird species.

Day 15: DEPARTURE
After breakfast at the Lodge, you will be assisted with checking out and proceed to the Kasese or Mweya airstrip Airstrip and take a domestic flight to Entebbe International Airport to catch your departure International flight.
