You will visit the two popular gorilla parks in the region, heading to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda and thereafter to Bwindi Forest in Uganda for such an incomparable lifetime experience of two times gorilla trek in Africa. Experienced guides will accompany you on your gorilla tracking, many of whom have been involved in the habituation and conservation efforts toward the well-being of these endangered mountain gorillas.
Day 1: ARRIVAL KIGALI -HELICOPTER FLIGHT FROM KIGALI TO MUSANZE / VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport to take your helicopter flight to Musanze, where you will meet your driver guide who will drive you to your lodge. Evening dedicated to have a Gorilla Doctor Lecture with the Gorilla doctors for an informative talk about these creatures called Mountain Gorillas.

Day 2: GORILLA TREKKING VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
After a very early breakfast at the lodge, you will proceed to the park headquarters for briefing and thereafter drive to the trail heads the start point for your amazing adventure.
You will be trekking the Great Apes, the Mountain Gorillas in Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. This activity could take between 2-6 hours. Rwanda has 12 habituated groups of Mountain Gorillas scattered all over the park. You will spend an hour watching the habituated group going about their normal day playing, eating… etc
Upon return from your trek, you will be driven back to the lodge where you will have lunch, in the everning visit Ellen DeGenerous Gorilla fund Museum, an expansive, 12-acre property that rests adjacent to the Volcanoes National Park in northern Rwanda. The campus showcases the best in sustainable architecture, local resourcing, and environmentally responsible practices and will offer state-of-the-art laboratories, a scientific conservation library, and meeting space for large groups.

Day 3: TRANSFER FROM FROM MUSANZE / VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK TO BWINDI FOREST IN UGANDA
Breakfast at the lodge and after checking out; you will proceed to Uganda, via the Cyanika border. After dealing with the immigration formalities, you will proceed to Bwindi Forest to your lodge. Day 4: GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI FOREST
After an early breakfast; you will proceed to the park headquarters for briefing and thereafter go to the start points and enjoy the highlight of the safari. Trekking the Great Apes the Mountain Gorillas is a once in a lifetime and worthwhile experience which takes between 2–6 hours. You will then return to your Lodge for lunch, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: DEPARTURE
After breakfast at the Lodge, you will be assisted with checking out and proceed to Kisoro Airstrip and take a domestic flight to Entebbe International Airport to catch your departure international flight.
