Day 1:  ARRIVAL

After arriving Entebbe International Airport, you will clear with immigration, proceed to the arrivals where you will meet your driver guide who will transfer you to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2:  DOMESTIC FLIGHT FROM ENTEBBE TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

Early breakfast at your hotel, proceed to Entebbe International Airport to catch your domestic flight to Kihihi Airstrip where you will meet your guide who will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park home to the Great Apes the Mountain Gorillas and your lodge for overnight stay.

Day 3:  FIRST GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI FOREST

After an early breakfast; you will proceed to the park headquarters for briefing and thereafter go to the start points and enjoy the highlight of the safari. Trekking the Great Apes the Mountain Gorillas is a once in a lifetime and worthwhile experience which takes between 2–6 hours. You will then return to your Lodge for lunch, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4:  SECOND GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI FOREST

On this day after breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters for briefing once again and thereafter go to the start points. You will get to trek a different Gorilla Habituated group from the one visited the previous day. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 5:  BWINDI FOREST FROM TO MUSANZE / VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Volcanoes National Park via Cyanika Land border with lunch enroute. Evening dedicated to have a Gorilla Doctor Lecture with the Gorilla doctors for an informative talk about these creatures called Mountain Gorillas.

Day 6:  GORILLA TREKKING VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK

After a very early breakfast at the lodge, you will proceed to the park headquarters for briefing and thereafter drive to the trail heads the start point for your amazing adventure.

You will be trekking the Great Apes, the Mountain Gorillas in Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. This activity could take between 2-6 hours. Rwanda has 12 habituated groups of Mountain Gorillas scattered all over the park. You will spend an hour watching the habituated group going about their normal day playing, eating… etc

Upon return from your trek, you will be driven back to the lodge where you will have lunch, in the evening visit Ellen DeGenerous Gorilla fund Museum, an expansive, 12-acre property that rests adjacent to the Volcanoes National Park in northern Rwanda. The campus showcases the best in sustainable architecture, local resourcing, and environmentally responsible practices and will offer state-of-the-art laboratories, a scientific conservation library, and meeting space for large groups.

Day 7: SECOND GORILLA TREKKING VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast at the lodge and after checking out; you will proceed to catch your helicopter flight to Kigali International Airport in order to take your departing international flight. Time permitting, you will be picked up for Kigali City tour before you depart to you next destination.
